Named after one of its deposits: Labrador in Canada. This labradorite stone is sought after for its play of colours with a metallic sheen. Blue and green dominate but all spectral colours can be seen. Labradorite has an iridescent appearance that is enhanced by the cabochon cut.It is a protective stone, absorbing negative energies and dissolving them.
