What materials are used to make Satellite Paris jewelry?
Our high-end costume jewelry is crafted from carefully selected, precious materials: Japanese pearls, mother-of-pearl, gemstones (amethyst, turquoise, carnelian, quartz, moonstone), feathers, silk, resin, and enamel. The settings are made of metal plated with 14 or 18-karat gold for a luminous and lasting finish.
What is 14 or 18 carat gold gilding?
Some of our jewelry is gilded by immersion in a bath of 14 or 18 karat gold. This artisanal process gives the metal a warm hue and superior durability. With proper care, your jewelry will retain its shine for many years.
Are your jewelry pieces handmade?
Yes. Every Satellite Paris jewel is entirely handmade by our exceptional artisans, with whom we have collaborated for over 30 years. Casters, engravers, gilders, polishers, embroiderers, feather workers: each piece passes through the hands of several artisans specializing in the traditional crafts of jewelry making.
Do your jewelry pieces contain nickel?
Our jewelry is designed in compliance with current European regulations (REACH standard). The nickel content is strictly below the permitted limits.
What is the difference between your jewelry and classic costume jewelry?
Satellite Paris stands out thanks to three fundamental commitments: French design and engineering in our Parisian workshop, the use of fine, natural materials (pearls, mother-of-pearl, gemstones), 14/18-karat gold plating, and entirely handcrafted production. Each piece is unique, designed in our Parisian workshop by our in-house designers since 1987.
Do you offer men's jewelry?
Our collections are primarily designed for women. However, some pieces with a clean, minimalist design (bracelets, pendants, rings) can certainly be worn by both men and women. Feel free to explore our collections at satelliteparis-boutique.com.
CARE & DURABILITY OF YOUR JEWELRY
How do I care for my jewelry on a daily basis?
To preserve its shine, follow this golden rule: your jewelry should be the last piece you put on and the first you take off. Store it flat in its original pouch, away from moisture and direct sunlight. After each use, a light wipe with a soft, dry cloth is all it takes to restore its brilliance.
Can I wear my jewelry in the shower, at the pool, or at the sea?
No. Chlorinated water, salt water, cosmetics (perfume, cream, hairspray), and household cleaning products damage the gold plating and natural materials (pearls, mother-of-pearl, feathers). Remove your jewelry before any exposure to water or chemicals. This precaution is the most important for prolonging its lifespan.
How do I clean a tarnished piece of jewelry?
If your jewelry has slightly tarnished, clean it gently with a microfiber cloth. Never use abrasive products, baking soda, vinegar, or liquid jewelry cleaner: these solutions will damage the jewelry.

How long does gilding last?
With proper care, 14/18-karat gold plating retains its luster for many years. Its longevity depends on how often it is worn, its exposure to perspiration, and adherence to care instructions. Consult our complete Care Guide for detailed advice specific to each material.
How to care for pearls and mother-of-pearl?
Pearls and mother-of-pearl are delicate, living materials. Wipe them after each wear with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Never immerse them in water, avoid contact with perfumes and creams, and store them separately from other jewelry to prevent scratches.
How to care for gemstone jewelry?
Gemstones (amethyst, turquoise, carnelian, quartz, moonstone) should be cleaned with a soft cloth. Avoid impacts, sudden temperature changes, and prolonged exposure to sunlight, which can alter their natural colors.

How to choose the length of a necklace?
The ideal length depends on the desired effect: 40 cm (choker), 45 cm (above the chest, the most common), 50-60 cm (long necklace). Our necklaces are generally adjustable thanks to an extension chain. The length is indicated on each product page.
What types of earring closures do you offer?
We offer several systems to suit every style and comfort: pierced posts, sleepers, hoops, clip-ons (for unpierced ears), and XXL earrings. Each product description specifies the type of closure.
Are the bracelets adjustable?
Most of our bracelets feature an extension chain to adjust the size to your wrist. The minimum and maximum lengths are specified on each product page. For cuff or rigid bracelets, refer to the indicated inner diameter.
Do you offer engraving or personalization?
As our jewelry is handcrafted and high-end, we do not offer engraving services. Each piece is a unique creation that bears the mark of our artisans' expertise.
ORDER & PAYMENT
How do I place an order on the website?
Select your jewelry and add it to your cart by clicking "Add to cart".
Next, proceed to checkout to complete your order. You will be guided step by step: login or account creation, delivery address, delivery method selection, and then secure payment. A confirmation email will be sent to you as soon as your order is validated.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments by credit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, Bancontact, and iDEAL. All
Transactions are 100% secure and compliant with security standards

My payment was refused, what should I do?
If your payment is declined, check that your bank card is valid and that you haven't reached your spending limit. Also, make sure you have completed the 3D Secure authentication process with your bank. If the problem persists, contact your bank or try another payment method. Our customer service team is available to assist you.
How can I track my order?
As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email containing your tracking number. You can also track the progress of your order from your customer account, under "My Orders".
Can I modify or cancel my order after it has been validated?
We prepare your orders with the utmost care and as quickly as possible. Modifications or cancellations are only possible if the order has not yet been prepared. Please contact our customer service department as soon as possible. Once preparation has begun, we will unfortunately no longer be able to intervene.
Can I use a promotional code?
Yes. Enter your code in the "Promo Code" field at checkout or during payment. Only one code can be used per order. Promotional codes cannot be combined with other offers unless otherwise stated.
Why can the amount vary depending on the currency?
All our prices are displayed in the various currencies offered on the website, but they are converted from the euro (€). The conversion rate applied by your bank or payment provider may result in a slight variation in the amount, and conversion fees may apply.
DELIVERY
What are the delivery times?
Orders are prepared within 24 to 48 business hours. In mainland France, please allow 2 to 4 business days after dispatch. Delivery times may be slightly longer during sales periods, holidays, or special promotions.

What are the delivery charges?
Delivery is free in mainland France for orders over €60. Below this amount, delivery costs are calculated based on the chosen delivery method and are displayed before you confirm your order.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we deliver to many countries. Delivery times and costs vary depending on the destination. Any customs duties and local taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. Please check the available delivery options when placing your order.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Each Satellite Paris piece of jewelry is delivered in a branded box or pouch, ready for gifting. We take special care in packaging each order so that the pleasure begins the moment the parcel arrives.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
What is the time limit for returning a piece of jewelry?
You have 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of your order to request a return. The jewelry must be returned to us in its original condition, unworn, and in its original packaging.
How do I make a return?

Carefully pack the jewelry in its original packaging and include a copy of your invoice. Be sure to keep your proof of postage and tracking number.
Can I exchange a piece of jewelry for a different model or size?
Yes, exchanges are possible within the same 14-day period, subject to availability of the desired style or size. Contact our customer service to arrange the exchange. The jewelry must be in perfect condition, unworn, and returned in its original packaging.
How long will it take to receive my refund?
Once the return has been received and inspected by our team, the refund will be processed within 7 to 14 business days to the same payment method used for the purchase. Depending on your bank, it may take a few additional days for the transaction to appear on your statement.
Are the return shipping costs my responsibility?
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of receiving a defective product. In this case, please contact our customer service department, which will cover the return shipping costs.
Are items on sale or promotion exchangeable or refundable?
Yes, items purchased on sale or promotion benefit from the same return and exchange conditions as full-price items, in accordance with current legislation.
WARRANTY & AFTER-SALES SERVICE
What guarantee covers my Satellite Paris jewelry?
All our jewelry comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date of purchase. This warranty covers material defects and manufacturing flaws under normal use. It does not cover natural wear and tear, accidental damage, or deterioration resulting from failure to follow care instructions.
How do I claim under the warranty?
Contact our customer service department, specifying your order number, the reference number of the item in question, and the nature of the defect (please attach a photo if possible). Our team will guide you through the process. Keep your proof of purchase; it will be required for any warranty claim.
My jewelry arrived damaged or does not match my order, what should I do?
If you receive a damaged or non-compliant piece of jewelry, contact our customer service within 7 days of receipt, attaching photos of the jewelry and packaging.
