Maison Satellite pays particular attention to the quality, durability and follow-up of its costume jewelry.
Each piece benefits from applicable legal guarantees as well as a 2-year commercial warranty, ensuring its longevity. Our commitment: to extend the life of your jewelry and to support you with high standards and transparency.
1. Applicable legal guarantees
In accordance with the Consumer Code and the Civil Code, all costume jewelry from Satellite Paris benefits from:
- A legal conformity guarantee (2 years) The legal conformity guarantee applies for a period of two (2) years from
the date of purchase. It covers any defect existing at the time of delivery that renders the jewelry unsuitable for the expected use or not in accordance with its description.
- A guarantee against hidden defects The guarantee against hidden defects allows for compensation if a non-apparent defect renders the jewelry unusable.
These legal guarantees apply independently of the commercial guarantee offered by Satellite Paris.
2. Satellite House Commercial Warranty – 2 years
In addition to the legal warranties, Satellite Paris offers a commercial warranty of 2 years for authentic costume jewelry purchased from the online store.
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Technical defects observed during normal use
All our jewelry is crafted with care and undergoes rigorous quality control before shipping.
3. Warranty Limitations
Costume jewelry features delicate finishes (gold plating, paint, lacquers, settings, stones) that are naturally sensitive to shocks, friction, and inappropriate use.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear of the jewelry
- Damage resulting from inappropriate or accidental use
- Exposure to cosmetic products, perfumes, seawater, swimming pools, or humidity
- Deformations (especially of rings) due to manual activities
- Lost stones as a result of a shock
- Repairs or modifications made by a third party
The longevity of your costume jewelry depends on following the care instructions available on our website.
4. Repair & Support Service
Withdrawal period – 14 days
Any jewelry purchased from our online store can be returned within 14 days of receipt, in accordance with our return policy.
After 14 days - Beyond this period, any request will be reviewed by our customer service.
After assessment, we offer the following options depending on the case:
- Repair of the jewelry (preferred solution)
- Exchange for an identical model if repair is not possible
- A store credit of equivalent value, with the customer's agreement
- However, if the assessment reveals improper use of the jewelry, as previously described, no coverage can be provided.
